Congrats man! It's like brain surgery. Super risky, but possibly life-saving lol

Um I had to take the screen off to get to the battery so I doubt it. I wonder what I should do with the Ali express screen I bought because I thought I'd break the screen?

Just to make my self feel better, I wanna say this, PureFusionOS isnt dead.......... We will continue to work on oreo 8.x as well as Android P, whatever version what will be, I hear its 9.x and I hear its 10.x, So gota wait.. I personally wanna wait for the release of Android P since its around the corner.. @tabp0le wants to work on 8.1, which I understand.. and he has my full support and help as needed..... We all went though alot of real life changes and stuff.. and needed our breaks...

I will be updating my device soon, I really am thinking about diving back into LG, and get the G7..................

What I will do with my current devices I dont know.. not sure.. I have next to no love for my HTC10 anymore..............
Dead battery took the love I once had for it.... even know I got everything replaced.. I just dont feel the same about it as I once did.

But No mater what device I get, PureFusionOS is a ROM.. it will work on all devices as long as someone builds from our Repos.

I will maintain whatever device I land on.. unless @tabp0le ends up with same device, then I would just let him continue the same as he is now..

Also, I have been working on this Forum board for a bit now, and yes. we wanted to get away from XDA and all its BULLSHIT politics...

I would also like to ask @tabp0le to setup the Donation section.. that will allow for the upkeep of servers........

Will you still publish some kind of presentation post of your work on XDA?
So people can see which rom is available for there devices?

Oh and like everyone I am depressed by the battery life of my 10 ...
It is not bad enough to be replaced by warranty sadly ...
So I am thinking about replacing it myself.

@Gemok since you successfully replaced your battery:
Which method did you used for opening the phone?
And what about the glue that fixes all the components in the back cover?
Does it need to be replaced? Or can it just clip in again?

I heated the phone on a microwaved wheat bag, then used a tool like the pic above to start to prise the screen open levering guitar pics into the gaps. I didn't have to replace any glue and managed to reuse all the tape that covers the connectors.

Tip - I took the tape completely off the screen ribbon cable before unplugging it and put it on a piece of baking paper.
