    Hello,

I just installed PureFusion on my (european carrier : Bouygues Telecom) HTC 10 smartphone. Prior to installing, I was using the official HTC Room on Android 8.

The install of PureFusion went fine but I have two major issues :
    - no sim card is detected. I tried many many things, including reboots of course
    - the home button does not work. Plus, when trying to define my finger print, the wizard shows the fingerprint reader at the back of the phone.

I'm sure I have been using the PME version of the build.
    Any idea ?

    Thanks

    Axel

    Hello,

Couple of hours later and a loooooot of testing and disappointments, I finally found a TWRP backup for my HTC and managed to go back to the stock ROM. With SIM card and Home button working again !!
I thought that because it was working now, it could fix my issues with Purefusion so I tried to flash back to the Purefusion ROM (purefusion_pme-8.0.0-20171229_005946-BETA.zip) but no luck. Same problem.
I'm very sad I cannot use Purefusion. Can anyone explain what is going on ?
    Thanks a lot,

    Axel

    Hello tabp0le,

Thank you so much for answering my question.
So if I get this right, I must downgrade to an official Nougat ROM ? Then Flash back to the Oreo PureFusion ROM?
And all this can be done with S-ON?

I will try this when I get my profesional phone, I had no phone for two days because of my mistake :)
    Thanks again

You're welcome! Yes, that is the correct process. No, I believe you must be S-OFF.

Not OP but I just did exactly this, I flashed the Nougat firmware, wiped data/cache/dalvik and installed PF on top of it. It wouldn't boot after erasing persist so I restored my backup image from before I upgraded to oreo. My data works but the home button and fingerprint sensor still don't. Is there a specific firmware version I have to use, or a specific way I have to flash it?

I think you'll also probably have to wipe persist.
